Heveafil Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated in 1973 to the Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB)group of companies.

This incorporation has ensured this group has become one of the world's largest manufacturers of extruded latex threads, as Heveafil uses highly developed technology along with its capacity to solve the specific requirements of its many global customers.

Heveafil concentrates on four main areas: The manufacture of high quality products First rate service to costumers Dedication to manufacturing through technological innovation An ongoing program of research and development 50 % of worldwide latex production in supplied from this region. Belonging to PNB group guarantees Heveafil a constant supply of precious raw materials. New varieties of trees are continuously appearing, in order to improve the quality of latex.

The factories of Heveafil and Filmax cover altogether an area of 45.87 acres, employing approximately 600 people

These two things allow Heveafil to remain a world leader in this field. The most advanced technology, coupled with strict measures of quality control ensures this is possible into the future, and culminated in the company achiving the ISO 9002 certification for its operation.
